Assignment: "A Mistake"
I had my camera set up on manual from a previous shoot and while at a friends forth floor flat, i saw a really nice sunset with, the sun poking through the orangey pink clouds, in my haste to capture this sight i pulled out my trusty alpha and fired a few off (being in raw i had no preveiw image) content i had a great capture
i carried on playing my poker
when i got home and uploaded it, i actually had this....
the metering had centerd on the sun and the aperature was set too small for the quick shutter speed used.
i hung my head in shame untill my wife comented how abstract it looked, with the sunlight in the whisps of the cloud edges.
this is the only mistake shot ive ever kept, (im way to overcritical of my own work, if i dont think it looks right its binned
