Default Assignment: A Mistake

I took this on my week-old 50D, and as you might've guessed I hadn't got hold of the camera yet. I had the setting on fast burst mode and I thought perhaps the metering would be like shooting normally. It didn't. Instead, the reflection of the sun on the water was maybe too strong that it pushed the shutter speed almost all the way up and underexposed the subject. I liked the pose so much I rescued it with post.

Anyway, please come check out my photoblog and don't hesitate to drop a comment!
