As mentioned I get the crowded feeling. My first thought was to have shot it with a wider angle lens, but when I look at the picture is appears to be shot with a simi- wide angle lens pointed down. (floor starts before roof, verticals get further apart as the go up). For me shoot wider and use an on camera level (preferably camera on a tripod).
Next the horizon (artificial horizon at end of walkway) is almost dead center, try moving camera up or down to move this horizon.
It is also seems moving point of view to the left some might provide diagonal lines leading into the shot to increase drama.
Post processing: as mentioned B/W is a possibility. If B/W I might try high contrast and/or posterazitation. Whatever you do tone down those over white areas on the floor. The ones at the far end are really distracting for me.
