It was obvious I had no idea what I was doing when I took this picture.
I had my moms camera on manual and I just pressed the button.
The resulting image was completely underexposed and I almost discarded it while viewing my pictures.
Luckily,managed to salvage something out of the image in black and white,
and was left with a pretty interesting effect in my opinion.

After taking what looked like a black blank screen and turning it into an abstract portrait my dog, I began to realize what digital photography offers. Within the next few weeks I began camera shopping and finally bought my first SLR.
