Good luck with the D40.. i dont' think they will let u in ... during the Olympic, few of my friend here in Shanghai went to the soccer match, and was told that no tripod, no monopod, no "pro" camera (and since it's a soccer match.. good luck with the super zoom... without tripod/monopod!)
not exactly what was the defination of pro camera there tho...
