Looking at your exif data.. the first thing I would say to change is your aperture. Set it to something like f/8 and try taking a picture with the same shutter speed you have and check out how the exposure looks like. If you think its too dark.. increase the shutter.. but keep the aperture at that position. You are saturating the bright portions of the image by using an f2.8 exposure. Hope that helps..
