But, the main issue is the resilience of the down trodden here, the struggle is just a part of their daily routine. I have seen nuns of the Sisiters of Charity (founded by Mother Teresa), in their crisp white gowns walking past street urchins barely covered. I have seen people sit casually and enjoy their afternoon coffee in Starbucks and a mother sitting with her unfed child for a rupee. It hurts, it strikes anyone very hard, but its the reality.
I am sorry, I barged in to say these, I couldn't help it. Kunal, I hope you will forgive me for tresspassing.

First let me say this is a very powerful image ,it goes straight to the heart so i think you caputured emotion that pulls a viewer in ,great photo . second , I as a canadian would never have quesssed this was taken in the USA ,is what i think you ment , based on the content of the photo I felt it was a 3rd world country where these types of things are common , I did not look at the wrighting on the wall behind her as she took my total focus ,reality is heart breaking

thanks for reminding me that some times there is more to the photo than what is seen at first glance .
