I agree -- save your money and purchase a camera body with macro features. The lenses you can buy for P&S cameras are OK, but not always worth the money. BTW, I bought a set of wide angle & macro (with tubes) for my Nikon E5700. I never use the macro lens, as the E5700 does much better without it. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.
