cdgaskin your making it difficult for us. Look at the FAQ for how to post from flickr so we can click through your post to the larger image so we can see the detail.

However your small image was interesting enough that I broke a habit and went looking for it.

is the composition ok?
is it too dark?

I'm taking these together because I think they are complemetary. The composition and light is great if you were trying to get a sort of Hitchcock, dead child in an armchair shot, it's quite disturbing. However, by your title, I'm assuming that's not what you were going for. In which case you should have gone 90 degrees right and caught her open eyes and "Don't I look silly" expression.

does the slight noise add to the shot or make it worse?
