I'm wondering which one of these is the more effective shot in regards to composition only.

I took a shot with more sky in it as I liked the change in the sky colour and wanted the wheel lines in the wheat to draw into the sky. Then later at home I cropped another photo the other way and left just a little sky in it.
I have heard a little about the one third rule so I took it with the sky in mind as a main feature but after cropping changed my mind about the sky.

Now I'm just getting slightly confused. haha
