oohh I like that version, great job! So had to have a go at my own image:
first I created a new raster layer and filled it with a gradient. Merged down and duplicate again. sveral layers using Topaz Adjust to create different effects. Next on yet another layer i took a poster from The Mummy and erased around most of it. used the displacement map to create distortion to try and make it fit with the hills. and this is what I came up with
