Default Golden Rules of Composition

Found this while searching for something else. Might be helpful, especially for those just starting out.

It shows a grid for the Golden Mean, Golden Triangle, and Golden Spiral overlaying a photo that conforms to all. You change the option under the photo, when the graph changes the viewing perspective is changed. Quite neat when you can see it happen in the one photo onscreen.

If you haven't used these rules they can help better your photography.

For newbies, all of these rules conform to the Rule of Third's. If you divide the screen in the Railway image you will find that the side of the train on the left falls on the vertical third's division. What they do is change the perspective of the viewer depending on which rule the photographer chooses to use.

NOTE: as the page loads you may get a warning message and possible danger to your PC. You can ignore this message and continue, it is generated by the system because the page needs to run a java program. I have checked teh program and it is fine.
