When I saw my first RAW file opened in Photoshop from my friends camera (while I was still using a point and shoot). I realized just how much I was getting ripped off by JPEG.
I haven't looked back since getting my first DSLR. It just upsets me that on my XTi I can't save to RAW when using the automatic modes (altho I rarely use them). It's just a stupid technical limitation that should not be put into place, makes me shake my head at Canon.
