True. Was tired when I posted this.

What I'm looking for is a general critique of the way I went about making this photograph more 'antique looking' since it's my first attempt. I haven't been at this for very long. Here's the originals for reference. Any suggestions to help improve processing techniques would be appreciated. I currently use Nikon's Capture NX2 and the open-source GIMP for editing.
