I separated the photo into layers. Tinted the background a little different and gave it some blur to let the cake stand out. I whitened up the server dish a little. Added a little color to the cake and added my own cherries. Also took out the cardboard the cake was sitting on. Some Photoshop, some Paint Shop Pro.
