I'm trying to follow your thread. I sympathize with you! I went back and forth for the longest time trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I found a pretty good strobe set up from Calumet but it wasn't very portable and I already have a one strobe strobist set up...anyway it was so confusing. I just went with another strobist light. But I mostly only use mine outside, with the exception of a prom in April (which is really the only reason I bought more lighting instead of a good telephoto lens). I hope the lighting you chose works out and now you can breathe a huge sigh of relief that you pulled the trigger
