I did a little bit of everyones edits for this one. First I layered the two pics and used layer mask to use the crisper head with the other wings. Flattened. Then I duplicated that layer and flipped the top layer horizontally to give me to identical butterflies facing opposite directions. The next part was really the hardest. I had to resize the to fit on the image. In retrospect, I should have just opened a new larger image and taken them to it, but sometimes we just have to do things the hard way. Once I had them sized to my liking, I used layer mask to expose the bottom butterfly. Then I selected the white on the bottom butterfly using color selection and added a color gradient to his wings. Did the same for the top one using a different gradient. Flattened. Made a new solid color layer in black under the butterflies then used layer mask to get rid of the greenery that wasn't necessary.
