It doesn't count for the contest - no chance of seeing this on the DPS blog in the weekly roundup, I'm afraid (but you've got until next Wednesday to get your affirmative shot in). It has to be taken in the date range (to show that it is a fresh picture, not just one dragged out of the archives) and posted before the closing line to give the mods time to cast their votes (already done mine!).

However, the assignment stays open indefinitely. If you have learnt something by using your camera to meet the challenge, you are a winner anyway. I think the use of the filter to give a vignette effect is very creative and effective and I'm sure you will also win further by inspiring others.
