This was my first year lugging a tripod along to the festivities, so much better results than previous years. Didn't manage to get an interesting foreground, unfortunately (somebody's Chevy Suburban and a couple of light poles!), so I ended up cropping down pretty far.
A couple others on my
flickr stream. Shot with a Canon S2IS, so it is possible with a non-DSLR as long as it gives you decent manual control.
