Hi,
I am glad to see some folks trying the Group Shot application. I have had problems similar to yours when I first started using the software. What I have found is that much of the success of a smooth blend depends on how the original subjects are arranged and your use of the rectangles for areas selected. Try not to have portions you want to add to the composite overlapping or too close to each other. In Sime's case the use of his black shirt may be hiding some limitations of the software to properly merge images. If you have a look at my Carwash composite in the How I Took It forum, you can see that I tried to place myself well separated from other image positions. I also had to experiment with the selection box sizes. Perhaps Sime can chime in here with any problems he encountered from his first composite. The Photoshop rendition turned out well. I look forward to seeing your next composite.
