And I'm going to put in a quick answer here: I probably take more photos in the spring / summer. There are 2 reasons for this. First, I live very close to a botanic garden, so I seem to walk through there on a nearly daily basis when the weather starts warming up. Second, there are more events going on (and more free events!). Outdoor events seem to range from concerts to outdoor performances to parades and festivals. All of these are fun places for me to go and take pictures. Not to mention the nice warm weather makes me want to stay outside with my camera longer. Winter here unfortunately means rain and wind, and those conditions seem to make me want to pack away the camera rather than go out and find shots (or even create them in my house). If there were snow I'd probably actually take at least a few more shots during the winter!
