I haven't experimented yet. I printed the cut-out lens hood for my ef 50mm f=1.8 prime. Now the lens does have AF so, do I, or is it common to mount it on the edge of the barrel (this is the slip over type) and trust that I'm covered? Seems it would come up short on coverage.
