kabayan! yeah, i heard about this and i found that story to be a very good "humbling" experience to those who let "money take pictures for them". right now, i don't have a camera. i sold my beloved s3IS, due to financial constraints, and am relying on whatever i can get my hands on (my friends have the usual 3-5mp point and shoots, canon, kodak, etc. - so i work with whatever comes my way. i am always the designated photographer for the day... lol)...
and i find it a very humbling experience. i am forced to think way out of the box and it is always a good feeling when i see some of the shots i took and get compliments from those who see them. don't get me wrong, i am starving myself to death to get a second hand d80 soon, or maybe even just a d60, but that has not stopped me from taking pictures. i know if i save enough that i'll get what i deserve soon enough. here's a sample of what i took with a canon a410 (well, i had a slave flash a managed to make that work with the a410... funny):
