I'm with all the majority here and leave my lens on, i hope this isn't a dumb question and i'm sure there's a hundred people out there thinking it, is there any positives/negatives to putting the body cap back on as aposed to leaving the lens on???

I don't know if there's a scientific reason but I assume that having to go from body cap to lens will allow more opportunity for dust to get into the camera since you would always be in a state of putting a lens on. I don't change my lens unless there something specific I'm doing requiring something other than the 50 mm to be on.
