I'd quite like some advice as well. I have been given an external flash (an olympus T20) that fits the hot shoe on my s9100 and it flashes when I take a shot but as the flash isn't designed for the camera I don't know what to do about settings.
If I leave the flash set to auto am I going to be compromising quality?
If I want to use it in manual then how to I decide on settings? - no instruction book!!
Would I be better just buying a new flash unit?
