I am Mike
Hi, I'm Mike. I live in Carbondale IL and just finished up my internship to graduate from SIU (Southern Illinois University - home of the Salukis).
I just started a new job in October at Aisin Electronics where they make ECU's for Toyota and Lexus. Previously, I worked at K-Mart for 5 years until they closed. In my spare time, I create my own electronic projects and I moderate a model car forum. I bought my first digital camera sometime around 2001 or 2002 and it was an Olympus C-720 Ultra Zoom. I didn't know all that much about photography at the time and mostly left it on Auto. At some point, I got the wrong addon lenses for it which created a horrible black circle outline (forgot what thats called). What can I say, I was new. lol
My Current Gear:
Samsung Pro850
I don't have too many accessories for it though. Just a hand strap that wraps around my wrist so I cant drop it, 72mm Circular Polarizer, and 2GB/512MB/256MB cards I had lying around.
I take pictures of the model cars I build and have been searching for a macro ring light for a decent price...or the hotshoe circuit info so I can make my own.
