I tend to live in the past, so photos come in handy.
It's also a nice break from my other hobbies. Sailing isn't something you can do when you have a few free minutes. Playing guitar can become exhausting, particularly to the ears. Fly-fishing is seasonal. I find photography to be a great match up with my other interests.
