Nice start. You shot this image at 1/250 at an ISO of 400. Unless you are shooting a high end pro camera it is wise to shoot at the lowest ISO that you can. Higher ISO will lower image quality and introduce noise into the image.

Look at the focal length reciprocal rule. With your focal length you could have shot this image hand-held at 1/80 of a second.

Also look at the rule of thirds. Cutting off the bottom of the tray is a bit distracting.

I like the B&W post processing.
