While the book may seem at face value to focus a lot on wedding photographers, I think it applies to anyone. Underneath it all, at the very core, are some wonderful guidelines to exploring who you truly are, what your strengths and weaknesses are, and how you can use this to leverage yourself - in any business really, but especially in photography!

Find what you love. Follow your dreams. Do it well.

Yes, this book is great for all wedding and portrait photographers! It focuses more on you as the photographer as opposed to your photography. Dane does an awesome job of teaching how to capitalize on your strengths and stand out in the world of professional photography!

This book really is great, and it's a total bargain. People always ask me how I manage a home, a family (3 kids and one in the oven) and run a successful photography business. . . a lot of what I do to survive came right out of this great book. Any small business owner (of any type of business) should pick it up NOW.

This is a great book for other areas of professional photography, even though it focuses on wedding photography. Invaluable advice on branding, finding what makes you unique and setting yourself apart from the rest. I recommend it to anyone in the business or thinking about starting.
