Do You Have a Secondary Camera?

I’ve noticed a trend in people discussing cameras online over the last couple of years – people shopping for a ‘secondary camera’.

This is usually mentioned by a DSLR user looking for a smaller camera – for those times when they don’t want to haul all their gear around. It’s a trend that I suspect camera manufacturers are picking up on – with a whole raft of new more compact cameras being released with higher end features.

My question for you dPS community is – do you have a secondary camera? If so – what is it?
