Rules of Photography
Here at Digital Photography School we believe that the ‘rules’ of photography are not designed to constrain or suppress your creativity. We do teach them - but also encourage you to learn how to break them to great effect.
As a result we’ve been running a series of posts on how to break the rules of photography. Here are a few of the more recent posts in this series.
- Hold Your Camera on an Angle
- Break the Rule of Thirds
- Ignore the ‘Active Space’ Rule for Moving Subjects
- Experiment with Different Framings in Portraits
- Taking Unfocused Photos
- Use a High ISO to Create Grainy Shots
- Move Your Camera to Create Motion Blur
These Tips just scratch the Surface of our archives.
