A friend of mine also puts a heating pad on low temperature under the blanket the infant will lay on. It keeps the little one warm, especially if you’re photographing the baby in the buff.

Chet,

You know, I’ve heard that before, but I’ve also heard that it’s totally bunk. . . SOOO. . . You’ll have to make that decision yourself.

I’m a 99% natural light photographer. I feel like whenever possible you should go for natural light. PERIOD. Particularly with babies. Natural light will help baby maintain that sweet pink coloring that flash would be sure to blow out.
