I say that because there are no ripples in the water. One, maybe two people are carrying umbrellas. Perhaps the rain had just ended or there was a light drizzle. I am in Mizoram state of northeast India, having tropical rains every year. So , rain is part of life here. However, I have not tried to take photographs with my cannon 40D. I actually had devised a rain cover for my camera 2 years ago,but had not tried it in the rain. May be next year I also will try it. Thankd alot . All the puddles are smooth as glass. So with your observation and mine, I'm becoming more convinced that the falling rain was added in PhotoShop and wasn't part of the original photo. Not that I think less of the photo now...
